Tienda Pago is a purchase and payment solution that makes it easy for users to supply merchandise with allied distributors. Focused on financial inclusion, it allows retailers to increase their products and sell more.

Challenge

We needed to activate clients in an easy-to-implement and controllable way using channels external to ours and at the same time have ownership of the process.

Solution

Together with the engineering, web, and mobile team, we came to the conclusion of translating our onboarding process (via WhatsApp) into a web app interface.

So, we designed an adaptable and scalable experience to activate clients with allied companies. The process begins within the mobile app of the partner company and through a nudge, we connect to our web app onboarding process. From there we will take care of the following steps, first an introduction to the product showing the benefits and conditions of use.

Subsequently, a series of validations will be carried out, starting with the mobile number and then reviewing and confirming the legal information. As simple as uploading files, their Tienda Pago account would be ready to use and enjoy all the benefits.

Result

We ended up with a adaptable web app, that could embrace any other onboarding process in a way that we could manage every step and tackle any posible friction regarding the activation.

We found not only a solution but also an opportunity to share with other potential partners, increasing customer activation.
