Challenge

Sometimes we need to purchase credit to enable us to use the mobile network, but some people can not afford or are not able to hire a mobile plan because they do not have a credit card to enable the payments, another times people choose to avoid mobile plans and prefer to load the balance manually until the credit has run out.

Tienda Pago allows its customers to sell airtime to help improve the Stores' quality of life. Thanks to their financing, they allow that segment possibility of making payments securely and electronically to its suppliers.

One of the common comments or requirements of the shopkeepers over time while we asked for their feedback on the use of the Tienda Pago product was the possibility of selling airtime to their customers, since for them it represents an anchor product, that mean that some customers ask about this service and take the opportunity to buy other products.

Solution

Together with the growth, risk, expansion and engineering team we define the business rules for the MVP.

We work together to understand how to deliver the best experience taking into consideration the risk and technological constraints. We built the user stories among with all the product posible scenarios.

Tienda Pago Recargas tool allows users to quickly and easily transfer mobile airtime credit to their costumers with just a few taps on their smartphone using their Tienda Pago credit line with the possibility to pay 7 days after and earning a profit from each transfer.

Result

The app is simple to use and offers competitive pricing, making it a convenient and cost-effective way for users to stay connected.

They process is simple, the they need to choose between a catalog of providers, fill in with the cellphone number and amount, confirm the transactions and collect te payment from the client. The app also includes features like transaction history and collections detail.

The benefit for users compared to the competition is that they do not have to use their money from their budget to sell credit, they can use their line of credit Tienda Pago where they can pay after selling and earn a profit from each transfer.
